Every Monday from 4-9 pm at the WFMY News 2 ice rink is YES! Weekly young professional night. If you are between the ages of 20 and 39, simply show your ID at the skate shed and receive $2 off our regular ticket price of $10. This offer is not valid on school holidays.

Wednesday is WFMY News 2 Night. Go to the WFMY News 2 website: www.digtriad.com, download a Piedmont Winterfest coupon, present the coupon between 4-9 pm on Wednesday night and skate for $8 (regular price: $10). You can also show the coupon on your phone. This offer is not valid on school holidays.
Triad Goodwill Night
Receive $2 off your skate rental every Thursday from 4-9 pm. Each person who brings a donated clothes item will be able to skate for $8 instead of our regular $10 price. Friday & Saturday Night Disco
Every Friday and Saturday night from 7-10 pm WFMY News 2 Winterfest will break out disco music and lights that dance to the beat. Put on your best outfit and come skate to the music. Our synchronized disco lights are also available for private parties by special request.
Now in its fourth year, WFMY News 2 Winterfest has grown each year and become a favorite holiday tradition of the Triad.WFMY News 2 Winterfest features an outdoor ice skating rink with a 100 ft. ice roller coaster, snack shack, music, seating for spectators and the opportunity for birthday parties or private party rentals. A Downtown tradition for over 37 years with larger than life Macy-style balloons, professional floats, drill teams and the area’s best high school marching bands parade down the streets engaging onlookers of all ages.
